Showcasing Patek Philippe’s legacy of astronomical timepieces, the Celestial features a dial dedicated to a rotating sky chart. It displays the night sky as seen from the northern hemisphere, including the motion of the stars, moon phases, and lunar orbit.
Two skeletonised hands indicate the hours and minutes of mean solar time, while an ellipse on the underside of the sapphire crystal frames the sky visible from Geneva and cities on the same latitude.
