Promise rings have become increasingly popular in recent years as more couples decide to choose an engagement ring together. Promise rings not only make a beautiful proposal piece, they can also be given at any time as a token of love and affection.
We answer some common promise ring questions below and share some rings from our promise ring collection.

What is a promise ring?
A promise ring, also called a pre-engagement ring or a proposal ring, is given to a loved one to show your commitment to them.
Some couples want to enjoy the experience of choosing an engagement ring together, so a promise ring is the perfect choice of ring to propose with.

Alternatively, if you’re planning to propose and unsure of which style engagement ring they would love, a promise ring is an ideal choice to pop the question with and then visit us in-store to find your perfect engagement ring.

What finger do you wear a promise ring on?
You can wear a promise ring on any finger you wish, however, it is typically worn on your ring finger. If a promise ring is given as a proposal ring, it is worn on your ring finger on your left hand.
Some couples find their proposal ring to be more sentimental, and will continue to wear their promise ring on their right hand.

How to pick a promise ring?
There’s no ‘one size fits all’ set of rules when it comes to choosing a promise ring. Some people prefer something small and dainty that they could wear daily on another finger, after the engagement ring has been chosen. Others like something similar to an engagement ring, but without real diamonds. You know your partner best, choose a ring that suits their style and taste!
