Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes, we sell gift vouchers both in store and online. You can purchase a gift voucher online which is beautifully presented in a gift voucher box and posted out to your special someone for some extra Keanes magic! (Kindly note that gift cards can be redeemed only in-store. It is not possible to redeem a gift card online.)

Do You Accept One4all Gift Cards?

Yes, we do accept One4all Gift Cards in-store. However, it's important to note that the Gift Card must cover the full purchase amount.

(Kindly note that One4all Gift Cards cannot be used online or for the purchase of luxury Swiss watches, including Rolex and Patek Philippe.)

Do you do valuations?

Yes, all irish insurance companies require an Irish Valuation in order to insure your precious ring. There is a fee of €50 for all rings valued up to €5000 or 1% for rings values more than €5000. 

Should you decide to purchase your wedding bands at Keanes, this cost will be refunded in full.

Do I need to book an appointment to visit your stores?

We do offer private in store appointments for diamond ring and luxury timepiece consultations, however these are not essential. We do operate a walk-in service, but if you would like to skip the queue, we do advise booking in advance.

Do you offer ear piercing?

We do offer ear piercing by appointment only. Ear Piercing is available from Monday - Friday 3pm - 3.30pm and costs start at €40. Ear piercing is suitable for people ages 7+. All of the earrings that we use for piercing are hypoallergenic.

What is the cost of cleaning diamond rings?

A cleaning service for diamond rings is available Monday to Saturday and starts
at €10 per ring.

The turnaround time for the cleaning service varies depending on demand, but they are usually ready for collection on the same day.
Please note that at busy times of the year, such as Christmas, it may take
longer.

What are the costs and wait times for repairs?

In order for us to assess the damage to your jewellery or watches, we would advise that you come into your nearest Keanes showroom so that our repairs team can give you an accurate cost and timeframe.

Do you offer engraving?

Yes, we have our own in house engraver. Prices start at €10 depending on the size of the item and the length of the text.

Do you take deposits?

Yes, an initial deposit of 10% of the full price is taken and regular payments are accepted for up to 6 months after this. Items will remain in store until the price is paid in full.

Do you have an in-house Watch Maker?

Yes, we have 2 highly skilled watchmakers in house.

Do you have an in-house Jeweller?

Yes, our Jeweller is based in our flagship store in Cork.

Can I get my partner's ring re-sized after proposing?

Of course, if the ring isn’t the perfect fit at the time of proposal, we are happy to resize any Keanes ring free of charge.

Delivery & Returns

What is your exchange policy?

Goods, except earrings,can be exchanged for a credit note or any other item within 30 days, with proof of purchase. No cash refunds.

What is your returns policy for online orders?

If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, you may return the item to Keanes within 14 days of purchase and receive a full refund. 

Earrings may not be returned for hygiene reasons. 

Items must be in the same condition as they were when received and must be in their original packaging with all accompanying booklets and guarantee. If the Keanes tag has been removed, the item cannot be refunded.

How can I return an online purchase?

Complete the return form that was included with your purchase and include it with the item being returned. 

Post return to ‘Ecommerce Department, Keanes Jewellers, 93-95 Oliver Plunkett St. Cork.” 

Remember to remove/cover your own delivery address if re-using the original shipping box and ensure the box is sealed properly.

Items must be returned via registered post. Keanes will only refund the value of the item, not any costs incurred by the customer to return the item such as postage/courier. Please allow up to 14 days for return payments to be processed, once the item is received by Keanes. We will contact you either by phone for email to confirm refund payment completion.

What are your delivery costs?

Delivery is free on all orders over €100 or €7.95 for orders under €100.

How long can I expect my delivery to take?

Please allow 3-7 days for your items to be delivered.

Can I cancel or return my gift voucher for refund?

Unfortunately, we do not offer returns/refunds on gift vouchers.
