Drawing inspiration from a historic pocket watch housed in the Patek Philippe Museum, the piece is richly adorned with hand-engraved volutes and foliage motifs. These intricate engravings extend across the dial centre, bezel, case middle, crown, lugs, hinged officer’s caseback, folding clasp and even the strap screws — a breathtaking showcase of the Rare Handcrafts discipline for which the Maison is revered.
The self-winding Caliber 26-330 S QR powers a sophisticated calendar display: apertures at 9, 12, and 3 o’clock reveal the day, leap-year cycle, and month respectively, while a retrograde hand arcs from 8 to 4 o’clock to indicate the date. Encased within a polished Officer’s-style case, the movement is visible through a sapphire crystal caseback, itself safeguarded by a beautifully engraved hinged dust cover.
