Patek Philippe presents Ref. 7129J-001, a striking new interpretation of its iconic World Time watch, now rendered in yellow gold with a vivid carmine red lacquered dial and a non-set bezel. Based on the 1930s invention by Louis Cottier, this 36mm travel complication displays 24 time zones simultaneously via a refined city ring and a two-zone 24-hour disk with day/night indication. The dial is enhanced by a basketweave guilloché centre, applied yellow gold markers, and lozenge-shaped hands indicating local time. Powered by the ultra-thin self-winding 240 HU calibre with mini-rotor, the 229-component movement enables instant global time adjustment via a patented single-pusher system, with its finishing visible through a sapphire case back.
