Description
Patek Philippe World Time pieces have graced maps from various regions of the world in Grand Feu cloisonné enamel sine Louis Cottier's invention of the mechanism in the 1930s. This 2022 model pays tribute to the South-East Asia and Oceania region in white gold.
The artist outlines the continents with thin gold wire, then fills compartments with different coloured enamel while repeatedly firing the enamelled dial plate at high temperature in a kiln.
